The word ‘Gospel’ can be translated as ‘Good News’. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good News of Jesus Christ and it is a message of salvation and new birth; it is a message of repentance and total spiritual conversion from sinfulness to holiness.

Jesus came into the world with one mission and that mission was to ‘save souls’. In fact, the very name of Jesus means ‘God saves’. Jesus saved us by dying for our sins. In this heroic act of redemption Jesus paid the price for our sins to reconcile us to God The Father.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17

God makes all things new through the saving grace that comes from Jesus Christ and through the power of God’s Holy Spirit..

Jesus “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2: 6-11

The Gospel of Jesus Christ preaches the type of total conversion that can be considered nothing short of a REVOLUTION!

But the Gospel of Jesus Christ is NOT about a violent revolution where change is the product of armed conflict, instead the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a message of PEACEFUL REVOLUTION born of the Sacrifice and Love of Jesus Christ.

Let’s reflect…

The word ‘REVOLUTION’ means to ‘REVOLVE’ or to ‘TURN AROUND’.

Jesus calls us to BELIEVE in Him, to REPENT, BE SAVED and to ‘TURN AROUND’.

This DIVINE ‘TURN AROUND’ plan changes us at the very core of who we are.

We change…

From arrogant to humble;

From ignorant to inspired;

From hateful to loving;

From vengeful to forgiving;

From cruel to kind;

From greedy to charitable;

From selfish to selfless;

From violent to peaceful;

From skeptical to hopeful;

From unbelieving to faithful;

From unjust to just;

From unforgiving to merciful;

From impure to pure;

From sinful to holy!

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27

GOD WANTS TO TRANSFORM OUR HEARTS AND FILL US WITH HIS OWN HOLY SPIRIT SO THAT WE CAN BECOME MORE AND MORE LIKE HIM!

God promised this long before Jesus came from heaven to earth:

“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.” Ezekiel 36: 25-27

In this Scripture we see the foreshadowing of Baptism that cleanses us through the Sacrifice and Blood of Jesus Christ and fills us with New Life through the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

The mission of Jesus is to reconcile us back to God The Father and to form our new hearts, purifying them through His Holy Blood and filling them with light and love through His Holy Spirit.

PEOPLE OF FAITH REMEMBER THIS:

Jesus said, “…Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

IF WE WANT A BETTER WORLD THEN WE MUST BELIEVE AND EMBRACE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST FOR IT IS GOD’S PLAN TO CREATE A PEACEFUL REVOLUTION ON EARTH THROUGH THE INFINITE POWER OF HIS LOVE.

THIS DIVINE PEACEFUL REVOLUTION CHANGES THE WORLD AS IT CHANGES THE HEARTS OF MEN AND WOMEN ENABLING US TO BE BORN AGAIN INSPIRED BY GOD’S LOVE!

“No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.” 1 JOHN 3:9

God’s plan ends human and drug trafficking by changing the hearts of traffickers.  It ends violence and terror by changing the hearts of terrorists and murderers.  It ends child abuse by changing the hearts of abusers.  It ends injustice by silencing the power of the evil one to kill and destroy.

So you may wonder, is God’s plan failing?

God does not fail!  But human beings do fail when they reject God’s love and grace!  The risks to humanity are very great.

Jesus said, “unless you repent, you too will all perish.” Luke 13:5

We must believe in God’s endless love and embrace the message of Jesus Christ, REPENT, BE SAVED and TURN AROUND AS YOU ARE SPIRITUALLY BORN AGAIN IN GOD’S LOVE.

THIS IS A ‘TURN AROUND’ PLAN FROM SINFULNESS TO HOLINESS THROUGH THE DIVINE POWER OF GOD.

Let us pray,

“Holy Father we believe that You will to change our world, to end violence, to restore peace and harmony, to bring healing, wisdom and justice. We turn to You Almighty God, and pray for You to send us Your Holy Spirit so that we may know and love Your Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ who died for our salvation giving birth to a peaceful revolution on earth where hearts are purified by the Blood of Jesus and filled by the infinite love and power of Your Holy Spirit. We know that without You Holy One we cannot succeed, but that with You and in You all things are possible. Have mercy on us in accordance with Your endless love. Help us to REPENT, BE SAVED AND TURN AWAY FROM SIN! We ask this in the Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour. Amen!”

OUR GLOBAL FUTURE DEPENDS ON OUR WILLINGNESS TO EMBRACE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

A future of hope, of peace, of justice, of prosperity requires that we embrace the message of Jesus Christ to repent, to turn around from sin and to love as He loved us.

Jesus said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35

So many people have yet to receive God’s Gift of Redemption that comes through Our Lord Jesus Christ.

You are invited to give God glory by stopping every day to remember the price Jesus paid to save us. You are invited to put 3pm in your calendar. Three o’clock is the Time Jesus died for us and if 3pm locally is not convenient for you to stop to pray pick another global time zone that is convenient. At this time remember the Passion of Christ. Remember the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus and pray for Jesus to send His Holy Spirit to bring souls to repentance and to conversion, to silence the power of evil in our world and to bring healing to our globe that is suffering so much.
