His heart was so full of compassion and love for mankind that He descended from Heaven to become Man in the ultimate gesture of mercy.  Jesus, God made Flesh, would not just teach us about love, He would show us in a sacrifice so infinite in its merits how much He loved us.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”  John 3: 16-17

For many today is a special feast day where we honour the Sacred Heart of Jesus, but let me invite you to do something special with Christians all over the world that will result in us honouring the great love of Jesus every day.

The Invitation

Join believers of Jesus, every day, in stopping to remember the Passion of Christ and to pray for all souls.  We unite at 3pm (in our local time zones or any time zone convenient for prayer) to pray to Our Lord Jesus for an outpouring of His Holy Spirit, for healing, for forgiveness, for new beginnings.  The sacrifice of Jesus was not just supposed to redeem us it was an offering to give us new life today!  Let us unite with great faith, great hope and great love in believing that Jesus wants to restore our world through the greatness of His Love for mankind.

If you want to see love triumph over evil and sin, then join us as we unite in solemn remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus every day.  We stop at 3 o’clock because this is the time Jesus died for us.  When the memory of the Passion of Christ is always top-of-mind, something very important happens.  You will see your priorities change; you will see God’s love for you in a more infinite and powerful way and you will understand that God’s love for you and me and all souls is unstoppable!

Holy Lord, we come to you every day at the Time You died for us to say

We love You!.  We want to honour You!  Thank You for loving us so much that You would die for us!  Send us Your Holy Spirit Jesus to stop violence, to create peace and to give a new birth to our world in such urgent need for Your great saving grace.  We trust in You Lord and we believe that the merits of Your sacrifice are infinite.  We believe that there is no love greater than Yours.  We have all sinned, but Your love redeems us, restores us and enables us to be the people of honour that You desire us to be.  Today on the Feast of Your Sacred Heart send forth Your Holy Spirit and heal us, change us, restore us to a perfection that will give You the glory that You so deserve.  In Your Holy Name Jesus we pray!  Amen.
