God’s truth is revealed to us by the power of the Holy Spirit

Jesus spoke of the gift of the Holy Spirit in this way: “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.” John 15:26-27

Jesus predicted that there was a time coming when people will be deceived in believing that God wants them to kill. They will be deceived!

“… the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.” John 16: 2-3

There are two forces in the world: God’s power and the force of His enemy, satan. This is the battle ground between good and evil, between truth and lies.

“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me.” John 8:42

To those who do not belong to God, Jesus says this: “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44

Let us pray for truth, for mercy and for spiritual conversion in the name of Jesus Christ, true God, true Man! There is too much persecution, oppression and violence in the world! All of this conflict is the will of the devil who Jesus revealed “was a murderer from the beginning…the father of lies”.

Holy Lord, Jesus Christ, we pray to you, God of truth, mercy, justice and love; we pray that you will help the people who are violating Your commandments. Please open the hearts of all men and women Jesus to receive Your Holy Spirit so that we may all know Your truth God. We ask this in Your holy name Jesus, who wills for all Your people to live in peace and truth, respecting, loving and caring for one another.
