Love without fear!
Love fills us with hope and confidence, but evil breeds fear, uncertainty and doubt.
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18
“God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16
God loves us and He has a plan for each and everyone of His children: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
There is nothing that Our Saviour Jesus Christ cannot forgive. God is calling all His children to come to Him to be healed and transformed by His mercy and unconditional love.
“If we confess our sins, he (Jesus) is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18
Satan wants to destroy peace in our world and make people doubt God’s very existence. This week Russia announced they have upgraded their nuclear arsenal with a weapon called ‘Satan 2’. The fear of war, especially of nuclear war, breeds legitimate global concern, apprehension and fear. War and violence is Satan’s way to destroy the world, while reconciliation, love and peace are God’s way to heal it.
Russia’s new nuclear weapon originally intended for a 2020 release, the Satan 2 is now expected to be operational by 2018. The more than 100-ton missile can travel distances of up to 10,000 kilometers (6,214 miles) to deliver a strike powerful enough to destroy an area the size of a European country or a US state with a single blast. The more people sin, the greater the power given to Satan and his demonic, evil forces. One of the news reports covering Russia’s new nuclear capacity highlighted a survey where more than half of the people surveyed felt countries needed to invest in nuclear weapons to defend themselves.
What do you think?
Will arming countries with powerful nuclear arms pave the way to peace?
Nuclear arms are not God’s way; they are Satan’s way to create fear, massive destruction and human suffering that is almost unimaginable.
If you believe in God then arm yourself with spiritual knowledge and understanding.
If we continue to cooperate with Satan by sinning against God, then we should expect global conditions to continue to deteriorate as evidenced by economic market collapses, violence, war, terror etc. But, if people come back to God for forgiveness and spiritual guidance we will receive the divine assistance we need to turn our lives around and to turn our world around, to end wars and to live in peace.
Global change begins with one person changing. Make your life right with God, turn away from sin and live in a profound inner peace knowing you are ready in a moment’s notice to meet Jesus Our Lord and be saved by His mercy.
Jesus tells us, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28
“So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Because of these sins, the wrath of God is coming.” Colossians 3: 5-6
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.” Psalm 111:10
Fear of the Lord is also known as ‘reverence’. Reverence is a special respect that we give to God who created us and who will one day judge us. People who laugh in God’s face are in the grip of the devil. “Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!” Psalm 53:1
“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to nor perform homosexual acts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11
Be not afraid of God! God sent His Son Jesus to pay the price for our sins. We are all sinners. Let us repent and turn to Jesus without fear for He loves us and wants to forgive us! But remember we need to express our sorrow for our sins with our heart not just our lips. We must give God the sacrifice He will not despise — a broken and a contrite heart. “My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.” Psalm 51:17
To people who are unsure if God exists I would tell them, pray and ask God to reveal Himself to you because He loves you and wants you to know Him. If you seek Him, you will find Him!
‘But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deuteronomy 4:29
So many people find God in the wake of tragedy. Perhaps this is one of the silver linings of tragedy; people in a state of distress seek God.
“In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.” Psalm 18:6
Friends of Jesus, let’s not wait to be in a state of distress to call upon Our Lord and Saviour. Let’s believe in the power of God’s love and the power of our prayers to stop evil, prevent nuclear war and end the terror and wars that are ongoing right now. Let’s pray for the Holy Spirit of God to be poured out to help souls come back to Jesus for forgiveness and guidance.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
Humility means we acknowledge the greatness of God and His omnipotence and we recognize our dependence on God’s grace and love. Remember, “with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
I invite you to put a reminder in your schedule right now to join Christians all over the world that are stopping to pray, every day, at the time Our Lord Jesus died for us, 3pm, in our local time zones. At this time we seek the crucified face of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and we remember how much Jesus suffered to save us as we remember the Passion of Christ. Jesus wants to heal our world of its many divisions. Jesus wants to end war and violence. Jesus wants you to feel safe in the refuge of His Divine Heart full of compassion and desire to heal you and protect you from the forces of evil in our world. Believe in the power of our united prayer friends of Jesus! We are calling this movement to pray DAILY at the Hour of Mercy, 3pm, The Mercy Movement
We love You Jesus! Heal our world Holy Lord as you heal our hearts and heal our lives!
