Our Father who art in Heaven

~       God I am grateful to be your child; at the end of this life I pray that I will be with you in Heaven where there will be no more pain and sorrow, only joy and peace;

Hallowed by thy name

~       May your name Holy God always be blessed; All glory and honor be Yours now and forever;

Thy Kingdom Come

~       Please help me to build Your kingdom on earth by being an instrument of Your peace. Please help me to show Your love and mercy; May my words, my actions and my prayers be pleasing to You.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven

~       Help me Jesus to be selfless and to put Your will first in my life. Assist me in saying ‘Lord, not my will be done, but thy will be done, in my life every day, even when times are tough, when I am suffering and especially when I feel confused or anxious.’

Give us this day our daily bread

~       Strengthen me physically and spiritually so I can be all that You want me to be, and You can fulfill the plans You have for me

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us

~       Jesus, I need Your forgiveness, please fill me with Your grace so I can forgive those who have hurt me, remembering always to pray for them.

Lead us not into temptation

~       Please help me to see the traps that the evil one sets in my life and to avoid them.

But deliver us from evil

~       Please keep us safe from all harm
