Dear Pope Francis,

I have sent you many letters hoping that you will promote A Peaceful Revolution in the Name of Jesus Christ.

A Peaceful Revolution in the Name of Jesus Christ is a global Christian prayer movement uniting Christians of all denominations at the foot of the Cross of Jesus at 3pm (the time Jesus died for us, in our local time zones).  At this time we stop to remember the Passion of Christ and pray for the mercy of Our Holy Lord upon all souls if but for a few moments.

I have been doing this now for almost a decade and I find that as St. Bonaventure said, “He who desires to go on advancing from virtue to virtue, from grace to grace, should meditate continually on the Passion of Jesus…There is no practice more profitable for the entire sanctification of the soul than the frequent meditation on the sufferings of Christ.”

Imagine the power of our united daily prayer!  The Church could add its daily or weekly prayer intentions to this global Christian prayer movement and you could be the great force behind it for the glory of Our Lord Jesus!

Recently I spoke to the US organization Open Doors that fights Christian persecution globally and they joined in and began promoting this prayer movement too.  See: https://www.opendoorsusa.org/christian-persecution/stories/tag-blog-post/why-pray-at-3pm-every-day/

I am praying that you will assist in memorializing the time of Our Lord’s death with a solemn moment of prayer each day at the time He died for us.  This will change the world as Christians enter into the Passion of Jesus to repent and pray for His grace upon all souls…and what a jubilee that would be!

In God’s Holy Name I reach out to you with hope and thanksgiving.

May the Peace of Our Lord Jesus be with you always!
