God’s plan
God has a plan for each of us: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
But could our own plan for prosperity and success be getting in the way of God’s plan for us? God gives us free will and we can use that free will to focus on our financial future and economic prosperity rather than our spiritual prosperity. God teaches us that “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Matthew 6:24
As we prepare for Easter let’s invest time with Jesus to discover are we fulfilling God’s plan or do we need to reconsider the choices that we are making?
Love is a choice to honor God. Are our choices honoring Jesus?
Holy Lord, please give us the grace to surrender to Your holy will. Guide us to understand what we should be focused on. Introduce us to the people who can help us and to those that we can help so that we can truly become instruments of Your will and that we can fulfill the plan You have for us.
