Children are the future of our world.  They are innocent and need to be free to live, to learn, to love, to laugh.  Some children have that freedom but some do not.  Poverty, violence and oppression steal lives and futures full of potential are destroyed.

There are many brave people who stand in the way of violence towards children and they need our prayers so that they can succeed in protecting and saving the future of our planet, the children.

Last night I watched a movie called ‘The Sound of Freedom’ and in this movie the horror of child trafficking is portrayed through the eyes of a brave man, Timothy Ballard, who has the courage to fight the abduction and trafficking of little innocent children.  I would encourage you to watch this movie if for no other reason than you can hold these little ones in your heart and in your prayers every day and that you can also pray for the people that stand against evil working tirelessly, risking their lives to save our children.  This movie asserts that “Human trafficking is a $150 Billion a year business and that the US is a top destination for human trafficking and amongst the largest consumers of child sex.” 

It is believed that there are millions of children being trafficked, forced into sexual slavery or forced labour.   It is beyond heart breaking.  It is a tragedy that breaks the heart of God.  God’s people are not for sale!  They are His special possession.  Jesus said, “It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around your neck than to cause one of these little ones to fall into sin.”  Luke 17:2

These are horrible crimes against humanity, against our most little, precious members of our world!  We cannot remain idle as these horrors are being committed.  We cannot get complacent and we must pray more than we ever have before!

I would like to invite you to join the Mercy Movement that is uniting Christians all across the globe in prayer every day at the Time Jesus died for us, 3pm (in any time zone convenient for you to pray).  At this time we remember the Lord’s Passion and we pray for His mercy.   Let us go to Our Lord every day at 3pm, the Hour of Mercy, praying for His divine intervention to protect, to save and to heal our children who have been injured, taken, exploited. Our unity in prayer is more needed than ever before, for the crimes against humanity are escalating and taking such a toll on innocent people.

Let us pray,

Holy Lord, of infinite power and love.  We come to You with trust and with hope.  Please help us in the battle against evil that is preying on our innocent little ones.  Please help all those who are fighting to save them to succeed.  May Your special blessing and protection be upon them.  Send them legions of angels from heaven to assist them! Change the hearts of those that are financing this horror and help them to repent and to turn away from evil.  Holy Lord we need Your divine intervention!  We need Your infinite power to be poured out upon our world to silence the power of evil, enabling love to triumph over this horrible tragedy.  For You all things are possible Lord!  May Your love bring the children who have been taken home.  Bring them home safely to heal and to begin a new life.  In Your Love Jesus we trust and we hope for a world that is safer, healthier, happier, holier.  Send forth Your Holy Spirit and change our world in such desperate need of Your miraculous divine intervention!  We love You Jesus!  We love our children, all the children of the world!  In Your Name Jesus we pray.  Amen.
