In the wake of the Manchester suicide bombing, let us AWAKE TO THE URGENCY OF ACTION. We must pray not only for the victims of this tragedy and for their friends and families, but also for the soul of the suicide bomber and for the forces of evil to be silenced by the infinite power of God.

When Jesus was on earth He warned His apostles that a “time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.” John 16:2

ALL SUICIDE BOMBERS ARE DECEIVED BY A TERRIBLE LIE!

Suicide bombers have been deceived into believing they will be rewarded in the after life for their actions.  But there are NO REWARDS IN HEAVEN FOR MURDERERS!

Satan is behind every suicide bombing and every terrorist attack. Satan’s primary tool is DECEPTION AND LIES.

Remember who Satan is. Satan “was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44

FAITH MUST BE GROUNDED IN TRUTH!

The TRUTH is God wants a peaceful revolution on earth NOT a violent revolution.

The Gospel message of Jesus Christ must be spread to the ends of the earth for this message will create true faith in God. “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Romans 10:17

Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18-20

The question we must all be asking ourselves right now in the wake of so many terrorist attacks is HOW DO YOU DEFEAT LIES and HOW DO YOU STOP EVIL?

THE ANSWER IS:

WITH THE TRUTH OF JESUS CHRIST WE DEFEAT LIES!

AND WITH THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST WE DEFEAT EVIL!

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7

To remain in Jesus means to be reconciled to God and to be doing God’s will. Sin separates us from God, but repentance and confession of sins enables us to be forgiven so that our relationship with God can be restored.

If we want to be disciples of Jesus we must understand His instructions.

Jesus said, “love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:44

After every terrorist attack I see the world ramp up its military and emergency police response and that is to be expected, but no amount of surveillance and military might will stop Satan’s diabolical deception.

What’s needed is DIVINE INTERVENTION!

The prayers of righteous people (i.e., people reconciled to God striving to obey His law of love) are powerful.

It’s URGENT that we pray for people planning to be suicide bombers.

Terrorists are motivated by many things. Some are motivated by power, wealth and global domination but the suicide bomber is motivated by revenge and rewards in the afterlife.

If a potential suicide bomber were to come to understand that there are NO REWARDS IN THE AFTERLIFE FOR SUICIDE BOMBINGS – What would happen?

THE TRUTH WOULD SET THEM FREE!

If we convince potential suicide bombers that they have been deceived by evil, suicide bombings will stop!

The TRUTH of Jesus Christ will stop suicide bombings and restore people’s freedom to gather in public places securely.

But to get to that point we need to PRAY and PROCLAIM THE TRUE MESSAGE OF GOD!

God wants A Peaceful Revolution on earth in the Name of His Only Son, Jesus Christ.

This Peaceful Revolution begins when someone repents and asks for God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

The word ‘revolution’ comes from the latin word ‘revolvere’ which means to ‘turn around’. God wants the world to turn away from sin. The type of change God desires is nothing short of a revolution, but He does not want the change to come through violence but through peace.

God wills for us to “Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.” 1 Peter 3:11

If we truly TRUST JESUS then we must honour Him by doing that which He instructed us to do.

“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:44

Love is stronger than hate. God is love and He will conquer Satan!

We will STOP SUICIDE BOMBERS WITH THE TRUTH THAT GOD WANTS A PEACEFUL REVOLUTION ON EARTH NOT A VIOLENT ONE.

There are NO DIVINE REWARDS FOR SUICIDE BOMBINGS OR TERRORIST ACTIVITIES OF ANY SORT!

Jesus is calling His people to the work of salvation and to the proclamation of the Gospel of Love, Peace and Truth.

“And He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He (Jesus Christ) is the One appointed by God to judge the living and the dead.” Acts 10:42

“That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God (Jesus Christ), who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.” 1 Timothy 4:10

Jesus did not just die to save us from our sins and to prepare a future place for us in heaven, Jesus died to destroy the power of sin and evil in our life today!

I am urging you to believe in the power of our united prayers to STOP SUICIDE BOMBINGS and EVIL of all sorts.

We are uniting every day @ the Time Jesus died for us, 3pm (in our local time zones) to remember the sacrifice and martyrdom of Jesus Christ. We remember the Passion of Christ and we pray for Jesus to stop Satan in his deception of suicide bombers/terrorists. We pray for Jesus to send forth His Spirit of Love and Truth, the Holy Spirit, to help us to love God and one another as one family united under God.

For all those who have lost loves ones in this week’s terrorist attack in Manchester, I am so sorry! I pray that Jesus will console you with the promise of heaven where you will be reunited with your loved ones forever. For those in hospital may the healing touch of Our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you!
