A Public Letter to Pope Francis from the Community of passionofchrist.ca  

Caro Papa Francesco,

I reach out to you via the Apostolic Nuncio of Canada Most Rev. Luigi Bonazzi to update you on the mission Our Holy Lord Jesus has given me called A Peaceful Revolution in the Name of Jesus Christ.

A Peaceful Revolution in the Name of Jesus Christ is a grassroots, global Christian peace movement with three key objectives:

1. Promoting a daily solemn remembrance of the Passion of Christ at the Time Jesus died for us, 3pm (in our local time zones)
2. Creating unity amongst Christians of different denominations all over the world, as we stop to pray together for Jesus to send His Holy Spirit into our world to silence the forces of evil and to create peace.
3. Spreading the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ all over the world to build faith, hope and love.

As a child of God and disciple of Our Lord Jesus I come to you to bring you some good news!

We have received over seventeen million positive responses from people all over the world communicating they like this cause for Christian unity! It is creating a daily moment of solidarity amongst believers of Christ, joining us together, from all parts of the world, at the foot of the Cross, to pray and remember the Passion of Christ at the Hour of Mercy (The Time Jesus died for us, 3pm).

Jesus is so worthy of being remembered and loved and this is one small way that gives Him glory as we thank Jesus for dying for our salvation every day!

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

My own experience over the last decade of stopping daily to remember the Passion of Christ at the Hour of Mercy (The Time Jesus died for us, 3pm) is that it motivates a profound intimacy with Our Saviour Jesus Christ. As we contemplate His Passion and pray for all souls, God silences the forces of temptation in our life as Jesus takes full possession of our minds, hearts and souls.

A Peaceful Revolution in the Name of Jesus Christ is a peace movement that believes in the power of prayer and the power of Christian unity to bring God’s grace to silence evil in our world and bring healing and transformation. As the Body of Christ unites in daily prayer and remembrance of the Passion of Christ every day, Jesus opens the hearts, minds and souls of His people, motivating repentance and reconciliation with God and man.

The Church has an opportunity to make this movement an unprecedented, historic success for Christian Unity giving glory to God as we honour Our Lord Jesus in a daily remembrance of His Passion.

I reach out to request the assistance of the Papacy and the Catholic Church authority to give glory to Jesus by helping us to bring more Christians to the foot of the Cross daily, as we remember the Passion of Christ and believe in the power of Jesus to transform our suffering world.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

Jesus will answer our prayers for peace and love, sending the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts, our lives and our world!
