Given a choice between Heaven and Hell, who in their ‘right mind’ would choose Hell?

The truth everyone should know is that God created Heaven as the ‘Eternal Home’ for every soul that will repent of their sins and believe in Him.  In this ‘Eternal Home’ there is no pain, only peace and joy and Heaven is available to everyone that takes refuge in the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is Our Saviour! Jesus is God Incarnate! Jesus came from Heaven. God became Man to reconcile man to God and open the gates of Heaven to each and every soul.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”  John 3: 16-18

Easter Sunday is the most important day in the Christian calendar. It marks the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus and His Victory over sin and death.

To the shock of so many people all over the world, Easter 2019 was also the day terrorists killed and injured hundreds of people in churches and hotels across Sri Lanka.

Does a suicide bomber really think killing innocent people is the way to heaven?

I have heard that some suicide bombers have documents called ‘passports to heaven’ in their pockets as reminders that their actions will bring them to Heaven.

THE TRUTH IS GOD DOES NOT REWARD MURDERERS!

It is the Devil/Satan that wants people to think that ‘suicide bombings’ are acts of ‘divine retribution’ that God will reward.

This is what Jesus says to the ‘children of the devil’:

“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!” John 8:44-45

“Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God. Love One Another. This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.”   1 John 3: 7-11

People of God are People of Love and Peace and Justice!

“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11

Let us unite in prayer that God’s Holy Spirit silences the power of the devil in our world that is deceiving and seducing so many souls to commit acts of violence.  Let us repent of our sins and trust in God’s infinite love to forgive us.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God’s Love and the Spirit of God’s Truth.

We can only understand God’s Holy Will through the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

Please join me in praying for all the victims of the Sri Lankan tragedy. Pray for their families and friends. Pray also for the deceived souls that committed these atrocities.

We unite at the time Our Lord Jesus died for us 3pm (each of us in our local time zones) to remember the greatest love the world has ever known and will ever know, the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

If 3pm is not a good time for you to stop and pray then enter another time zone. But don’t let a day go by without remembering the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His victory over the power of sin and death.

Jesus is the Gateway to Heaven! Trust in Him and pray that all souls will come to believe in Him for there is no other Way to Heaven than through Our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

Anticipate our Eternal Home, Heaven, with great joy!

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4
