A PROPOSAL TO POPE FRANCIS
Three o’clock is the time Jesus died for us! It is the Hour of Mercy! It is the time Jesus opened up the gates of heaven to His believers. Imagine a world where Christians of all denominations stop at 3pm, daily, in remembrance of the great sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus, if only for a very brief moment, to pray for the mercy of Our Lord upon all souls.
Jesus is so worthy of our love and the time of His death must be memorialized! Let’s unite in prayer and thank Jesus for His infinite sacrifice! Let’s unite to pray for one another. Prayer ends wars, prayer ends persecution, prayer stops violence and prayer creates peace!
Three o’clock is not ordinary time, it is a sacred time when Jesus declared VICTORY over evil and death by paying the price of our sins. Let’s console Our Saviour by uniting in prayer as ONE Body of Christ at the time Jesus died for us, 3pm. Let’s trust in Him to pour out His mercy upon the world to save us!
Calling all Christians to join together praying for the mercy of Our Lord upon our broken world, at the time Jesus died for our salvation, 3pm (in our local time zones)
THE LOVE OF JESUS WILL CHANGE THE WORLD! The Passion of Jesus Christ will melt the hardest hearts. The mercy of Jesus will save souls and create peace.
The Global Campaign to Promote Prayer and Christian Unity
A detailed proposal was sent to Rome that urges the Catholic Church to create a global concerted effort to make 3 pm, the Hour of Mercy, an extraordinary solemn moment in our Christian daily lives where we remember the greatest love of all – the love of Jesus Christ. At this time people of Christian faith are urged to stop and pray and thank Jesus for His great sacrifice, by contemplating His Passion and calling upon His mercy to save the world. Even a few moments spent remembering Jesus dying on the Cross for us can be sufficient to imprint His Passion upon our hearts, changing our priorities and our lives.
The unprecedented global campaign proposed to Pope Francis leverages the local Church infrastructure, as well as the media, the Internet, online social networks, Catholic organizations, ecumenical Christian partnerships and ordinary men and women reaching out to their friends and families spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is proposed that this global campaign commence with a global press conference, coupled with local efforts aimed at sparking a revolution of prayer that makes every follower of Jesus a channel of His love and peace.
As John the Baptist urged, let us “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.” Matthew 3:8 And as the Virgin Mary said, “Do whatever he (Jesus) tells you.” John 2:5
Jesus asked His Bride to meditate on His Passion
Jesus said, “I desire that you know more profoundly the love that burns in My Heart for souls and you will understand this when you meditate upon My Passion. Call upon My mercy on behalf of sinners; I desire their salvation…There are few souls who contemplate My Passion with true feeling; I give great graces to souls who meditate devoutly on My Passion.” (Words of Jesus to St. Faustina, Diary of St. Faustina 186, 737
Jesus asked His Bride to remember Him at the time He died for her
Jesus said, “At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy for the whole world. I will allow you to enter into My mortal sorrow. In this hour, I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion…immerse yourself in prayer there where you happen to be, if only for a very brief instant.” (Words of Jesus to St. Faustina, Diary of St. Faustina 1320, 157)
The Passion of Christ pierces the hearts of those that love Him, motivating repentance and true sorrow for our sins!
Jesus suffered so much to save us! “He was harshly treated, yet He submitted and did not open His mouth. He was silent like a lamb led to the slaughter …” Isaiah 53:7 “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows.” Isaiah 53:3-4 How do we say thank you to Jesus for the price He paid? Let us remember Him everyday at the time He died for us and let’s give Him the sacrifice He will not despise, true contrition: “My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.” Psalm 51:17
The sorrowful Passion and Death of Our Lord is the key that Jesus used to open the gates of Heaven to His Bride.
The Passion of Christ is the key that Christian Churches must use to motivate repentance and create a spiritual communion between the Bridegroom Jesus and His Bride that is reverent, holy and full of desire.
The Bride of Christ stands at the foot of the Cross each day at 3pm in Honor of her Bridegroom Jesus Christ who suffered so much for her! His sacrifice is imprinted on her heart and on her mind! His pain is her pain! Let us remember Him every day at the Hour of Mercy!
Through repentance and prayer we become instruments of the Lord’s peace. Send forth Your Holy Spirit Lord and renew the face of the earth!
“Do not let a day go by without meditating on the Passion of Christ.” St Padre Pio
Three o’clock is the time Jesus died for us! Will you stop to remember your Saviour at the Hour of Mercy and pray for the salvation of all souls?
